Professional Master's in Nursing
ADMISSION PROCESS
The admission process usually takes place once a year, generally in December, for admission in the first semester. There are around 15 posts available. The applicants must apply to one of the two research lines of the course: "Nursing care in the human development process" and "Management, Planning and Organization processes of care in Nursing and Health". The selection is open to any candidate with an undergraduate degree in Nursing. International applicants need to have proficiency in Portuguese and in English for Specific/Academic Purposes. The applicants are classified in general order for scholarship distribution, prioritizing the best ranked candidates.
Scholarships
The number of scholarships varies from year to year, depending on the availability of funding agencies, so there is no guarantee of scholarship for all accepted applicants. The rules of each selection process are explained in specific calls.
